The Gold Coast's premier prestige pontoon has come on board as an event partner. The agreement will see River Limo acting as a tracking boat for the rowing races and carrying cameras for our hired watersports TV production team.
"I'm looking forward to the challenge" Boat Captain and Owner Steve Kennedy said of his task of tacking the racing crews via his high stability, low wash Aloha Tri-Hull.
The capacity and comfort of the vessel will also see it take up to 6 VIPs at a time on the day. "This will get our sponsors out on the river and closer to the action than ever before."

This great news offset the disappointing news that the big screen which was donated generously by Clive Featherby of KCs Fireworks in 2008 would not be possible in 2009.
We gratefully thank Clive for his generosity in 2008 and hope to deliver this great event addition in future with further sponsorship once television momentum has been generated.
With more frequent rowing races, Dragon Boats sprinting over the final 200 meters of the course, live jazz, freshly cooked food and a fully licensed beverage facility we feel there will be even more for the spectator to enjoy in 2009 than previous.
